Study tour to Italy

On April 26 – May 1 a study tour to Italy for the employees of the Department of Activation of Agricultural Producers was conducted.

The tour was organized by the Institute of Economic and Social Research (IRES FVG) of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Udine (Italy).

The department representatives participated in i.a.:  meetings with the representation of the Region’s three biggest farm cooperatives: Associazione Generale Cooperative Italiane (AGCI), Confcooperative and LegaCoop and the councillor of the regional parliament for agriculture, nature and forestry in the Regional Office of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Following meetings took place in the Cantina Produttori Cormons cooperative which produces wine and also in “La via Antigua” agroturistic farm where production process is conducted within ecological methods.

There was also a meeting held with the representatives of the VEGAL (GAL Venezia Orientale) cooperative which is a non-profit Development Organization acting for the development of the East/Oriental Venice.

On the last day of the tour the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development representatives were guests of the Institute of Economic and Social Research (IRES FVG) of Friuli Venezia Giulia where the review meeting took place.
