Publication summarizing the TNC competition

We encourage you to read the release summarizing the competition concerning Nordic Baltic best transnational cooperation Leader award.

The publication, prepared by the Estonian Rural Network is a detailed description of the twenty-one finalists from among the sixty- projects submitted in five categories:

Youth - projects aimed at children and young people from rural youth exchanges, camps, festivals

Tourism - cooperation projects under the Leader approach for the development of tourism in rural areas through the creation of a new common brand identity of regions

Culture - collaborative projects that promote the development of culture in the field of art , handicrafts, theater, folklore, dance , research and publications on culture

Local development - projects using the Leader approach to local development , eg through village renewal , new developments in the provision of services and infrastructure , supporting local businesses, and innovation in rural areas

Local Resources and Environment - projects on the use of local resources such as local products, short supply chains, environmental protection, environmental measures, organic production, alternative and renewable energy sources
