A seminar: “Implementation of the natural tasks in agri-environmental programme within RDP 2007-2013”

Achieving the measure’s basic objective that is improvement of the natural environment and rural areas require cooperation of many committed services and units. Taking into account the measure’s broad and complex scope the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized on 10–11 December 2009 a seminar entitled: “Implementation of the natural tasks in agri-environmental programme within RDP 2007-2013”. The seminar made it possible to present the specificity of natural measures implementation from the point of view of some chosen services. It also enabled exchange of experiences and helped to strengthen cooperation between singular units involved in the programme implementation. Due to the varied sculpture of the earth’s surface, diversity of soil and climate Poland is characterized by a big differentiation of habitats and natural landscapes. Protection of these precious natural values is carried out within the Measure “Agri-environmental Programme” of the Rural Development Programme (RDP 2007-2013). The Measure includes 9 agri-environmental packages which include agri-environmental variants with sets of tasks that go beyond the basic requirements in force and do not correspond with other instruments of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
