Meeting of the Working Group of the NRDN

On 24 November 2009 the second meeting of the Working Group of the National Rural Development Network took place in the seat of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Its aim was to give opinion on the NRDN Draft Action Plan 2010-2011. During the meeting there were discussed, among other things, existing hitherto experiences connected with the NRDN functioning in Poland. The Central Secretariat and Regional Secretariats took many initiatives to be able to use a new tool in the best possible way, that is NRDN, in the scope of support for rural development. The NRDN Action Plan 2010-2011 is a continuation of the process of NRDN building launched in 2007. Its mission is, first of all, to facilitate a better flow of information between institutions involved in rural development, exchange of good practices, knowledge, experiences and improvement of the economic situation of farmers and rural inhabitants. The Working Group for the National Rural Development Network gave a positive opinion on the presented NRDN Draft Action Plan 2010-2011.
