Competition “Friendly rural area”

Competition “Friendly rural area” was organized within the National Network for Rural Development. Its aim was to choose the best infrastructural projects implemented in rural areas and supported by EU funds. At the first stage projects were assessed at the voivodships level. Next all first - place winners took part in a nationwide competition. On 19 October 2009 the competition board assessed projects which competed at the central level. Projects were assessed according to a criterion of promoting, first of all, creativeness, innovative approach, functionality and partnership at the project implementation. After counting points awarded a ranking list was made. On 27 October 2009 the results of the competition were announced at the conference held in Warsaw.
